I found this interesting artwork which reminded me of Utopia Tree. And I decided to make a five-color land. But it got a little out of hand. See for yourself:

Draco suggested that to celebrate the end of spring break, I should post the most evil card imaginable. Those were pretty vile, but there's worse to come:

WHY WOULD I DO THIS?
Original Art
1st: Nice. Horribly restrictive for most tournament decks, but that's how it should be.
ReplyDelete2nd: Well, you'd better damn well be done playing lands, otherwise this will EAT YOU.
3rd: More vulnerable than the 1st, to be honest. With all that in the type line, it's vulnerable to all land hate. Boil's being played a lot lately, and Corrupted Roots just came out.
4th: Hmmm...too restrictive. There's nonbasic lands that don't even produce mana, like dark depths. This limits decks too much, if they're mana intensive. My 5 color deck wouldn't survive.
5th: I like this one a lot. Beasts and Dragons and Demons and Angels and all kinds of fatties love this card. Not to mention the Scornful Egotist (lol. Couldn't help mentioning a wizard). This is probably the best build I've seen for this card.
6th: This one's also pretty nice. More restrictive than the 5th, obviously, but still, one of the better builds.
7th: OH DEAR GODS, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? YOU'VE UNLEASHED UNIMAGINABLE EVIL ONTO THE LAND! (It's a pun. Laugh.)
-Nameless One (Has 4 Magi of the Candelabra and 4 Terraformers helping him critique this week)
Here's another suggestion. Make it 5 or more, so that people can use it to play WUBRG spells. It still works as a restricter, I think.
